Yeah, I kind of would have liked to see that. But, in a way I’m warming up to the “you decide” ending they had. 

They use that “hiding the character’s true potential but letting you know they still have it” in a lot of shows…probably the most successfully in a show called “Avatar the Last Airbender”, where on of the older characters—Iroh—was very powerful, he broke out of prison all on his own in, apparently, a one man army kind of way, but the show never showed it….So…I can respect them wanting to preserve Fishleg’s innocent character by not actually showing him kick Snotlout’s butt…but the implication was good enough, I guess XD

Hmmmm, well I’ve always had this head canon that the twins used to be very to themselves and would only hang around each other, but then one day Tuffnut and Snotlout became friends…and Ruffnut felt left out and very jealous. 

There was a lot of tension for a good 6 months as to who Tuffnut would hang out with but then one day he just told both Ruffnut and Snotlout that he wanted to meet in the woods, but then didn’t show up so that forced Ruffnut and Snotlout to deal with each other XDDDD

Although Ruff and Tuff obviously hang out more as brother and sister Snotlout is still their best friend in a way. Tuffnut and Snotlout are more of the bros though XD But Ruffnut can rough it with them, and offers the female common sense to the group, sadly they think of her more as one of them than “a girl” XDDD Kind of like “Ruffnut’s not a girl….she’s….Ruffnut” XD

I do think there was a time when Ruffnut had a really bit crush on Snotlout, but he liked Astrid…so she gave up eventually. (I think Ruffnut has some major jealousy issues when it comes to Astrid….there are a lot of clues in the franchise that point to that). 

But….as for the three as friends….I think Gift of the Night Fury kind of sealed the fact that they’re supposed to be a good group of friends. But, yeah, sadly the TV show doesn’t explore that much. Any friendships that don’t pertain to Hiccup kind of don’t matter in the show apparently >__<

I like these two together. They seem to know each other well enough, and since Tuffnut and Snotlout are kind of buddies, I’d imagine Ruffnut and Snotlout are kind of close as well. I can see them being a very funny couple to watch though…since they’re both so hard headed and probably afraid to admit that they like each other cause….for Snotlout…that’s his friend’s sister XDDD

I’d love to see these two together plus I’d LOVE to see Tuffnut’s reaction XDDD
